Daniel Wiens, Golf Course Superintendent
"Hello, my name is Daniel Wiens. I was born, raised, and currently live in Inman KS. Upon graduation I attended Hutchinson Community College where I receive a general agricultural degree. While at Hutch I worked for Prairie Dunes Country Club grounds department for 2 summers, and was able to help in preparing for the 2006 US Senior Open that was held there. After Hutch I attended Kansas State University in Manhattan where I graduated with a degree in golf course management. I worked for Manhattan Country Club while attending school and then for a few years afterwards, with the last 2 years as assistant superintendent. While in Manhattan I met my amazing wife and we moved back to Inman several years ago. Upon moving back I worked in the residential lawn industry in and around Lyons. My wife and I have three amazing kids. I am excited to join the Lyons Rec. team and look forward to working for the golf course. Thank you."
